Great Two Cents worth Knarfling!
I can't think of any other games that have the first person perspective!
Wizardry Gold is a great prelude to Wizardry 8 (rumored to be released in July) and you will be able to import characters from Gold into 8.

Wizardry Gold is still available retail through "The Ultimate Wizardry Archives" which contains Wizardry games 1-7, 7 being "Gold". There is a good chance that if you have any used software dealers locally, you can find "Gold" in stock there too.
