Hello teval, If I remember correctly, you are building bridges with the levers you are talking about. There are actually more rooms like this one you are in and when you finish with all of them, all 4 bridges will be complete. Use your map and try to raise the bridge that is outside the door and stairs behind you. If you only have part of the bridge built, you can jump across to a new area. I hope this helps you.
