After reading some of the posts about the monkey, I was concerned when my turn to chase him would come. I also thoroughly enjoyed some of the stories. By accident, I found out that after you find him again in the hallway, DON'T chase him. He comes back... Just be patient when targeting, and zap him with some magic. Worked good fro me.
