Deltim27 says (on a thread on page 5 today~"Skull Castle" I believe) that he used that key to open a door in the Lich's study.
Countless players in the past, myself included, never got it to work anywhere.
Maybe Mike (Deltim27) could shed some light on which door it was!
I know once I went through the whole Lich scenario there, all but two doors in the Lich's study were already open. One was an ornamental door that required a pickpocket skill of 7 combined with a set of level 5 lockpicks (or someone good at bashing locks lol) and the other I don't remember ever seeing a keyhole for, went to a hallway that you could go around to get to.
