I guess I am out of sync with the quests but I have just given the old pirate his hook and he wants be to kill a longtooth on skull island. I have already completed the island/castle and when I went back there is nothing there. Do I have to go into the castle again or should I just pop back to the island now and again to see if there are any there. Is it important to do?

Thanks for all your help out there - the information, support and laughs are all part of enjoying the game IMOP.
