Hopefully you saved your game between performing the ritual and speaking to the Naga Spirit and pulling the lever.
This is a common problem spot for some players.
The trick here is to pull the lever and jump right away so that you don't get caught in the hole or floor on your way down.
If all else fails, Wyvern can help you out by you sending her a saved game prior to jumping.
I just read a thread that suggests your video card may be the culprit in this particular case.
