The snake figurine is the one yes, as for the monkey statues, you will have to look around, i cant remember the exact locations of all the monkey statues, im certain someone else will be able to give you better advice later, or if you are sick of running around, and dont wanna do it anymore then look in the snake temple walkthrough section of this site.
I cheated and looked in a walkthrough for the switches area because i was trying for ages to get in (and i hate switch combination puzzles)
