Having said all that about the desirability of our actions having consequences and impacting on future NPC reactions that old Ratkin bloke in Dark Savant refused to listen to a word I said even though I hadn't laid a finger, paw or claw on any of his chums. Admittedly the stick I looted from his corpse (at the third attempt) made a very useful weapon but it was a bit vexing as I rather liked the Ratkins.
