First: Samurai can't train in Kung Fu. Strange that Warlocks can, but there you have it. You'll have to wait and change classes again, if you like, to get Kung Fu again.
Second: Yes, your ranger has to be a member of the Priest guild. A quick workaround is have her accept an ascension quest that will grant her Priest Guild membership (like Paladin, Monk, Warlock), join the Priest Guild, then decline the quest (go back to the guild where you got it from and click on the selection again.) I do this for all my rangers...get the quest for Paladin first, join Priest guild, then decline Paladin quest, get Ranger quest.
