To become a zenmaster - you need to collect the four tome of the elements (fire, wind etc) and return to the dojo in Brimloch Roon.
To become a Valkyrie a female character must place the lich's heart in the black fire in Cet's pyramid - then she must return to Brimloch Roon - think she gets the promotion in both the temple and the magic shop.
