I know the newest TNT2 drivers from NVidia, the Detonator3 drivers, will let the game crash randomly. You could try to get/install older drivers.
You should also check if your swap space in windows is large enough (> 300MB), or when it's dynamic you should have those 300MB free on that harddisk.
