this I know of so far...
skull with crossbones = poisoned
chains = paralyzed
bugged-eyed face = blinded
green face = gassed/sick
gray face = stoned

to add:
foot w/wings = haste (speed)
arm w/lighting = heroic might
shield = armored
cross = blessed
