When you accept the quest from the farmers go and tell Tenya about it. Say that you must kill her and when you beat her up enough she'll talk to you and tell you that *SPOILER* (select the text to read it) fishermen stole her bowl . Therefore you realize that she did nothing wrong so you shouldn't actually kill her although she is evil.
IMO, a paladin shouldn't kill evil char until he/she(/it) does something against the law.

If you help Tenya she'll help you again in Baldur's Gate city, although it's just a minor quest.
