[Flaming Fist Enforcer]

Degrodel, the mage in a house with stalkers and doom guards gave you 6 stone to flesh scrolls. Cast one on the statue in the North West (500 XP) corner and demand to know where the Helm of Balduran is. He should give you a scroll that says it is in Helm and Cloak Inn (NW part of town). You don't get anything for freeing the other statues so better keep the scrolls.

Inside the inn go up the stairs in the back of the inn. Find the painting in this room (trapped) and search it to find the Helm.

If you give it to Degrodel he'll give you 5000 gp, but then have 3 monsters attack you and leave with the Helm. It's much more worth it to keep the Helm. You can also give him the Helm, then kill him and take the Helm back.
