So, you're looking for two tanks with one offensively oriented, two offense casters, and two extras. You don't like multiclassing. Gotcha.

Let me say in advance that MC'd guys are much better than single class characters. However, you can easily get by with single classed guys.

Also, I'll add that the best "monsterkiller" in the game is the wizard. Tanks are mostly used to defend them.

Here's a possible party:

1. Aasimar fighter4/paladin of helm
This guy can tank in full plate, can heal a bit, and can be a "monterkiller" for your purposes. Use a longsword and shield.

2. Deep gnome monk
The midget CANNOT be touched. I like to mess around with adding in mage and cleric levels on this guy, but as a single class monk suits your purposes. This fellow can sit all day in a horde of baddies taking no damage at all. Use him as a decoy, mage killer, scout, and target for fireballs. Use fists or small blades.

3. Aasimar cleric of Lathander
This guy is a backup melee character, but his main purpose is healing and offensive casting. Lathander gets you nice nukes like firestorm to supplement your defensive cleric spells. Paladin or fighter levels are fun to add in. Use a greataxe.

4. Drow rogue1-2/mage
With maxed DEX and INT, the low amount of rogue levels is all you need to bypass all of the traps/locks in the game. I usually add in paladin and ranger levels. This character's main duty is offensive casting and having a spell for every situation: you can have a vast amount of spells, so use your versatility to your advantage. Don't be afraid to have a huge spell list. In an emergency, buff yourself with Tenser's Transformation, stoneskin, etc. and jump into the melee. Use a dagger, or with ranger levels dual wield daggers.

5. Drow Sorcerer
For once, I'd go single class. You want to focus this character on offensive mass destruction spells such as fireball, acid storm, meteor swarm, horrid wilting, etc. Don't take low use utility spells with this guy, teach those to your mage. Use a staff.

As your sixth slot, you have some choice here. A bard would be a nice supplement to your melee characters. Another sorcerer would add in more offensive capability (I always use two sorcerers and one mage). Finally, you may decide to remove the rogue levels from your mage and make a single class rogue here, with fighter levels added later.

Good luck!
