You forgot one of the most important drow attributes - Spell resistance.
IMO, spell resistance is worth the ECL penalty any day, for stat allocation and defensive reasons, even though you might not want your main spellbomber to have an ECL penalty.
Consider that a spell-resistant drow (that also has a +2 to saves against enchantment spells) can bleed Wis for extra stat points without worrying overly about its vulnerability to Hold spells and the like. That means more for Con and Int, assuming that you are going to have Dex maxed out already.

The Con adds to durability and concentration checks, and Int gives you more skill points to allocate to useful magic and talking skills.
Spell resistance essentially gives you an extra saving throw, which is certainly worth it for a low-HP class; it's that much less likely to fall victim to AoE spells etc.
