Some comments on you party...

for the first Guy I'd reccomend making him a paladin (for the abilities and cera-sumat) or barbarian (mainly for extra HP and damage resistance) and would switch him for the dwarf or half-orc for the extra tanking abillity or and aisamer ( I think thats how you'd spell it) if you want him a palidin. If you have a pally you get a cera-sumat (longsword prof points, probaly the best in the game, in HOW its a +10 weapon) if you dont or keep him as a fighter give him prof points in greatswords no matter what type of fighter he is.

For the cleric I'd say give him 4 levels of fighter at the beginning of the game and then go on putting the rest in cleric. Since you only have 4 guys, this guy will be a pretty good tank with fighter4/clericX. This build will perhaps be your most powerful guy. Also I'd say make him a cleric of lathander for the awsome domain ability's.

The halfling rouge isnt going to be that useful, since theives abilitys are nowhere near as important in this game as in the BG or first IWD games. Instead you should just make him a straight bard for the songs and he would be just as effective an archer if you gave him prof points in crossbows.

And for the last guy, I suggest you should make him an aisiamer (I spelled it wrong again) sorcerer. Since you only have 4 people a sorcerer will pack that extra punch and your cleric can be your main buffer/tank. Also with 20 charisma you will have a very good talker.

Well thats my rambling, I hope I provided some help
