In a previous post of mine, I was told that I would get the chance to return and finish Battle Squares. When will that happen? Is it a dialogue choice or will I simply have to backtrack? I ask because I just descended into the hole to the duergar caves and I don't want to go too far that I can't return.
And now the question that really let me down: what is up with the dragons in this game? I'm trodding along, well rested and with fire spells as I always do before leaving an area, and surprise! My heart beats fast, my courage mustered...and then it's over. I didn't even have to rest to regain spells and actually moved on and killed the next one. Two dragons on one night's rest? What's up with that? What happened to "The Dragon", the one that made every gamers heart flutter and became an epic battle sung by bards for generations? I had more problems with the gang of hook horrors on the next level than I did with two whites. The only thing I must say is it was a nice touch to have dragons with enough intelligence to go after the character that was doing it the most damage (the mage of course) but in the end it was a letdown. Gone are the days?!?
