The Umber Hulk was Sabbac-Tann or something (gives you quest for first badge), I believe you face him as soon as you come out of the underdark. He is back in human form.

Can't remember the Necromancer???? Amphitheatre??? What battle was that? I need to refresh my mind.

One more I almost forgot, The Blacksmith and his son whom you rescued from Dragon's Eye.
