Sure. All you have to do is make sure they are in bmp format and then crop or resize them so that they fit into the size guidelines (220 x 330 for L, 42 x 42 for S). The file names can be no more than 8 characters long including the L and S size designators (e.g. portratL.bmp). You can use any number of photo editor programs - the most popular are JASC Paint Shop Pro and Adobe Photoshop.
