I just noticed after equipping my Monk who has Cat's Grace on her with a Dex improving ring that nothing improved! Then, I realized that magical improvements to a character attribute from an item doesn't add to improvements from spells (i.e. +4 strength from a belt means gaining +3 strength from Bull's Strength spell does no good -- a base str of 18 still goes only to 22, not to 25).

Perhaps I should have expected that, but it wasn't plain to me earlier in the game -- I know that only generic AC stacks, but no attribute stacking didn't occur to me. Just thought others should know and wanted to verify that that is in fact the way the game is intended.
