What I think you want is this: In a book shelf on the top floor of Ramazith's Tower in BG (the big blue one close to the Duchal Palace) is a tome that when identified will permanently raise your intelligence by 1 point. There is one such tome for each ability, but 3 for wisdom. They are at:
1. Being held by a Priest in the Lady's Temple in BG.(Wisdom)
2. In Durlag's Tower(TotSC required)(wisdom)
3. I forget (so sorry)(wisdom)
4.In a cave guarded by flesh golems on the lighthouse map.(constitution)
5. In a cave at the gnoll stronghold(charisma)
6. In a barrel at the thieves guild in BG(dexterity)
7.In the Candlekeep Catacombs (ch.6) (strength)
