Borg might be right about whether it is possible to reach 30th level or not. I can not speak from experience as I haven't soloed a character yet. There is a LOT of quest experience in the later chapters of the game and although combat xp may be diluted, quest xp is virtually constant regardless of mode and with a solo character it is no longer split.
Here is a rundown of quest xp by chapter for just the last three chapters:
Chapter 4: 43,000
Chapter 5: 57,350
Chapter 6: 75,150
Total: 175,500 xp
That looks to be about 5 to 7 levels worth of xp.
