If you have a character with high intelligence, that person, on talking to the Abishai leader, will recognize the name as a Caged Fury.
However, you do have a problem if you can't get into the treasure room via the painting. Still, all is not lost, I think. If you have Nate's bag of holding, you can give that to him later (after the place is cleaned out) and that may be enough for him to break through the glacier.
