A Goblin battle thing where a Halfling dude is summoning monsters? Hmmm... from your other post I gather that you haven't entered the Horde Fortress yet, so is this by any chance a Goblin Shaman hitting a war drum outside of the Fortress, causing Worg Riders to appear? Take out either the Shaman or his drum (the Shaman himself has priority) with ranged weapons or spells, and the Worg Riders' numbers will cease to increase.
By the way, I'd suggest getting monster names right. There's a lot of Halflings around who'd be very upset about being mixed up with Goblins.
