Keep in mind that GOLD does *not* transfer over to HOF mode. Be sure that all your party members are loaded down with as much spare/excess equipment as you can manage. That will give you stuff to sell so you can buy goodies after you arrive in Targos.
Also, you will have to export individually all characters you want to use in HOF Mode. This should be done as close to the end of the game as possible.
