You can not in any way shape 0r form import your Icewind Dale 1 team members
or any of their saved games into Icewind Dale II the games are not compatable
look at the Black Isle Fourm for Icewind Dale II under FAQ it will give you all 100 reasons.
what you can do is find the Portraits from Dale 1 that have been recreated and formatted for Dale II and posted in this forum a page or two back then use (Dale Keeper II) when it comes out some time in the next few weeks to modify your team stats to what they were before in Icewind Dale 1.
