well since potions of mind focusing stack you can get dexterity to 25, not sure if it changes AC from 24. You can also find a better random shield that gives AC of 4 as early as Dragon's eye. Can't think of anything off the top of my head but I'm sure there are more items/spells to lower AC.
Just remembered: let's not forget you can have 4 more singing bards
. So an AC better than -40 is easily attainable.

but do you remember if you had the cap too? at what value?
is the cap real? what about specific AC vs type of weapon (slashing, bludgegoing...) is that capped along too?
