That's Immunity to Silence, and sound based spells, -6 bonus to AC, 30% resistance to physical attacks, and regenerating 6 points per round. Couple taht with a Ranger/Cleric, or Fighter Mage, and you've got a tough group to beat.

Nope. There are not many times you'll need protection from silence and it's not worth wasting 2 bards for this. It's much better to avoid silence some other way. how many enemies cast silence? Your sacrificing 4ac 4hp/rnd 20% res for nothing.
Bards should sing only WcoS, any other songs (immunity to fear, to silence, better thief skills) only for specific needs.
