Sounds fun (whats WotC).
If I may add a suggestion: Since you'll be having multiple bards anyway go with 2 singers. Either add a 6th one, or change one of the archers. My suggestions is add a sixth one. Since bards advance really fast in levels XP won't be a problem.
And now the reason for 2 singers. One will sing the War Chant of Sith, while the second... Tymora's melody. Tymora's melody is kick-ass, and increases your combat skills considerably. Not only it increases your thaco and damage it also doubles your chance of critical hit! It also increases other skills (pick-pocket, lore) and increases all rolls a mage does in his spells (damage or duration rolls). The song is very underrated and the only reason neve used is because everyone takes War Chant of Sith and for its regeneration and nobody takes two bards. I was actually very dependent on it in my HoF game, and very reluctant to let go of it in favour of War Chant of Sith (which is crucial in HoF though)
With the attack bonus of Tymora's Melody, and defense bonus of War Chant of Sith, your guys might just stand a chance. Add to that the fact that you can cast spells, heal (war chant of sith), sing other songs (like the one whch stuns enemies), should the need arise, and bards are very versatile and like I said advance pretty fast.
Just thought of something else, does War chant of sith bonuses stack? If so you can have 5 guys sing it and one go mellee. With +10 AC bonus, regeneration 10HP/round and 50% damage resistance without any items (with items could be greater!!!!) that mellee guy could be almost invulnerable and able to rip through hordes of enemies by himself.
Biggest problem for party as I see it: only one attack per round.
Still sounds extremely fun. Good luck!
