Fighter/Cleric/Thief is not a valid class.

Cleric/ranger seems best indeed. If not, try fighter/cleric.

Fighter/cleric/mage would've been very good too if you had mage scrolls. If you dont mind CLUAing those scrolls for yourself (and subtracting money as if you bought them) that could be the class to go.

EDIT: I think ease-of-use mode gives unlimited stacking? never used it myself though.
