Hi! I've found that anything I have dropped in someone's house/office/shop was lost. The other guys can verify this. I canot remember that the supply note was that critical, though? I remeber that the caravan contract was of some importance but not the supply note? If you decide to start over though, I'm sure you'll run through the game much quicker, I've done it once like that and that was my experience...
