BG1 the book did kinda stuck, I thought it looked good at the store. I was so excited to see it because I was playing BG1 and found it fascinating that someone wrote a book about it. I have only read 2 forgotten realms books so far (I got a little bored with them), but I would love it if you other forum members would recommend some that you liked. And to answer your question I really wouldn't want to ruin the book for you so I'll keep it basic ... there aren't many NPC's in the book, they are just like minor characters in any other book. And you do have a group in a way: some people like Jaheria and Khaild travel with you.
