*To bash it down, select whomever you want to it with and then right-click on the sword icon on the bottom of the screen. I should highlight. Then simply drag the cursor over the door and click on it. To select the sword icon you could also press the appropiate hot key ( F3 I think.)

*To pick the lock, select your thief, press the thieving button ( the one that looks like a mask) and then drag the cursor over to the door and click on it. If it doesn't open try again a couple of times and if that don't work your thief skills are too low.
