There was only one left. Maybe it's a bug with my game (I got the latest patch, but...?), but the only way I could kill any of them at all was cloudkill. The first one took out all but one. And after chasing that last one for a few hours, hacking him apart and watching him just reappear at the other end of the room, uninjured, I threw another cloudkill, and VOILA! Another dead Pomab.
