in pnp the xp rewards are static, unlike in bg2 (100xp for using a thief skill like hiding in shadows, finding and disarming a trap, picking pockets etc, and 2 xp per gp collected) while wizards (and bards) get 50xp per spell level they cast. druids and priests get 100xp per spell level they cast (to further their deities' ends, not merely healing a party member) and mages get 500xp per spell level when scribing scrolls not the 1k per spell lvl that bg2 gives, there are more xp awards than this but these are the easiest to think of off the top of my head
