Make sure that you are entering Jamoth's tomb -- he is the warrior that was touched by the vortice, and so it is his tomb that houses it.
If you are still encountering this problem, then I highly recommend that you clear (delete all files in) your cache directory. This effectively removes any glitches or errors that might be present. However, you may have to load a game before it takes effect. Best of luck!
