Infinity is a pain to mod with - wait for the aurora(Neverwinter Nights) engine. But if you absoloutly insist on trying, go to
www.teambg.com. One thing - there are already dowloadable add-ons for BG and BG2, but i dont recall seeing anything for IWD, so it might be worth investing in BG2 instead.
