Chapter 3 End Icewind Dale

I seem to have made Gelarith mad in the last part of chapter 3. This means he wants to fight and won't take my machine pieces to fix the Astrolab.

What makes this even worse is that Larrrel is attacking me as well. He is impossible to kill. I bet I caused over 1000 damage to him and he won't die.

I fear that I will have to start over if I cannot get Gelarith calmed down.

Has anyone come across a solution to this?
