Ah, I did the opposite.

I ignored the golems, and just attacked Belhifet, as once he's dead, you've won!!

On my game, the Golems always went after my Mage, so I stoneskined her, and they just stayed focussed on her, out of the battle. Then just usually buffer spells, and whip his arse!
