I decided to play IWD, ToLM thru HoW with:

Cleric (can wear all armour+decent weapons)
Fighter/Thief
Fighter/Mage

Ended up increasing difficulty leve because battles were too easy.(5th or 6th time thru IWD, 4th time thru HoW, 3rd time thru ToLM)
Cleric maxed out @ level 30 b4 end of HoW.
