what port? i take it you're trying multiplayer stuff? local netowrk on over the internet? i run over an ipx netowrk; though tcp/ip will work; i once saw a strange issue with a windows 2000 server booting one of two win98 nodes whenever the other tried to connect; but that was network related, not necessarily IWD. we ran on an ipx network and had no troubles.
