I can find it rapidly, double click on it to see it, but it is not in my portraits when I go to customize CHARNAME and scroll through the photos. Then again, that folder (BGII Potraits) is empty except for that portrait. Maybe I just need to find where all the other portraits are?
They HAVE to be in the .BMP format. If you are uncertain on their filetype, do the following steps.

  • Open up any folder.
  • Go to FFFFFF">Tools, then FFFFFF">Folder Options...
  • Select the FFFFFF">View tab.
  • Uncheck the option, "FFFFFF">Hide extensions for known file types".
  • Click on the FFFFFF">Apply button.
You can now easily see what type of file format your downloaded portraits are.

If you are still having problems after that, come back here.

Cheers.
