You say you've "done the quests"....I take it that means you've completely cleared all the levels of Balduran's Ship? If you have, then you've already met the Greater Werewolves you mentioned. If not, then you haven't done all the quests and you certainly have no reason to be beating on Kaishas.

Have you gone through any caves? And, if you found a gold sword, did you keep it?
