Everything hinges on whether or not BioWare put a MINHP1 item on pre-Nyalee Yaga-Shura. Before you remove his invulnerability, he's simply immune to everything you can do, so a MINHP1 item would have been superfluous. But Weimer's Fire Giants can and will Lower Fire Resistance, and therefore constitute a very real threat to the guy who's supposed to be invincible.
Imagine what could happen if you Charmed one or two of them?
