I've always thought that a multiclassed party (or at least mostly multiclassed) would be the most fun in SoA/ToB, especially considering that multiclassed characters tend to be more powerful in ToB (I base this on the idea that high level characters reach a certain point of diminishing returns, and it takes a lot longer for multiclassed characters to reach this point).
I'm thinking I'll go with a good/neutral aligned party, and take Aerie, Jaheira, and Jan with me. I don't know what I should make my protagonist, and I'm really considering bringing along Minsc as well (with the new banter pack, I'll regret going through the game with Jan and without Minsc).
So, I'll have:
Jaheira (F/D)
Aerie (C/M)
Jan (T/M)
Minsc (Ranger)
and a multiclassed protagonist.
Hmmm, here in lies my dilema. I really don't need more than one thief, so that's out. I have a druid, and a cleric, and two mages, so I really don't need any of those classes either.
Any suggestions?
Also, if I want to make the party a full one (6 person), who should I add? I'd think Imoen, for storyline purposes, but 3 mages is a lot for any party.
TIA.
