Sequencers are indeed handy, but don't underestimate the use of the Improved Alacracity HLA that Neomi referred to - it allows you to cast a phenomenal amount of spells. A good timestop tactic is to start close to him when the spell first goes off, cast IA, then start with anti-protection spells (Spellstrike, Ruby Ray etc), step back a few feet, let go with the lower resistances, step back again, switch to more offensive spells etc. That way his protections are stripped before your offensive spells hit...
