Fert, instead of simply apologizing for spoiling someone, a better way would be to apologize and edit your post. The little "edit/delete" button comes in handy here, and if you edit the first post on a thread, you can edit the name of the thread itself.
Spoiler warnings come in two forms:
1. You can change the thread title (which I think is preferable in this case, since "now what??" is pretty darn vague) to something that gives a good indication of what the thread is about. A name like "Just beat the final battle, where do I go from here?" is good.
2. You can add spoiler tags in the form of the word SPOILER in big capital letters, followed by some (mostly) blank lines. Something like,
"Okay, I finished the game and SPOILERS
