There is a combination to increase magic resistance, and there might be one for experience. I don't know, but I got it (experience) randomly.
If I was wrong, than I admit my error. I only did the Keep once. I'm fixing to head on over a bit later in my current game... Till then, I must bow to those who have done it more recently.
