Wouldn't Ruby Ray of Reversal take out that SI: Abjuration, since it's an Alteration spell? Or is this not how RRR works? [/QUOTE]despite the common belief to the contrary, and i am including myself in that belief...(before i did some tests)

spell immunity abjuration will NOT stop secret word, kelbens warding whip, pierce shield, and other spell protection removal spells, despite the fact that they are indeed abjuration spells...

now i've written up my guide in the mistaken belief that because ruby ray is both abjuration and alteration, it will punch thru and get rid of spell immunity...yet my latest experiments with imoen spell immune to both alteration and abjuration, the ruby ray still dumped spell immunity...same for khelbens warding whip..but what happens is that there is a chance that a ruby ray or khelbens will dump the spell immunity(it sometimes killed spell immunity, sometimes didn't)...spell strike, as per description always works..and spell immunity abjuration does not stop breach..

spell immunity abjuration will stop remove magic, but breach will kill the protection from magic weapons, it has no effect as per spell description on the spell immunity...so breach (kills protection from magic weapons) and whack away...

if you really want to remove the spell immunity, secret word, or khelbens or spell strike it...

but since spell immunity does not protect from physical attacks, is rather pointless..

however, with smarter mages, it does become a significant point...

a smarmy lich is immune to breach...lich immunity to level 5 spell and below...
they are NOT immune to remove magic, (some sort of oversight) but smarmy liches cast spell immunity abjuration, so remove magic does NOT work on them...they are improved invisible, so you cannot target them with khelbens warding whip, or spell strike, and they are spell immune divination, so true sight won't work...

so a smarmy lich is already immune to breach, spell immune to abjuration and divination...and improved invisible...making them an invalid target for targetted spells, like spell strike, thus it is impossible to remove the spell immunity...and lastly, they have spell shield, and protection from magic weapons...

so its one of the most nasty set of interlocking and mutually supporting defenses i've ever ran across..
